The shop, run by Mrs. Vannier, is open all year round. The only two days, when it is closed, are January 1st and May 1st.

tabac_presse_1tabac_presse_2Amongst the many things in this shop are original postcards and envelopes with typical views of the village in a retro style, in black and white or colour, which show a stylised picture of the Porte Saint Michel in Bize-Minervois.

Similarly, plates, mugs and glazed cups are all available with the image of the Porte Saint Michel.

The shop has shelves of stationery and books (with a display of paperbacks). As well as postcards, you can find everything you need for writing with lovely quality articles.
The shelves of newspapers and magazines are well stocked, including the classic titles of the Minervois area: La Semaine du Minervois, L'Indépendant, le Midi Libre, as well as, amongst others, English papers (available all year), and German and Dutch (in the summer season). A large choice of magazines is also available, of which some are from Spain, England, Germany and America.
