Whether you are an adult or a child, you can sign up. You'll have the chance to make real progress in the sport thanks to a nationally qualified coach, Mr Eric Sendat.

The Bize Tennis Club takes an active part every year in the national fund-raising event, the TELETHON, by allowing players to use the Club's playing facilities in exchange for a financial contribution that is donated in its entirety to research into genetic diseases.

The Bize Tennis Club also organises a fun-day for children at the end of June, coinciding with the finals of the local annual tournament. It's a chance for those who don't play the game to have a go at hitting the ball and also, for the children, as well as the adults that bring them along, to have a good time together in the evening round the barbecue.

The Club committee consists of Valérie Grimal, President, Pierre Mazard, Vice-president, Valérie Mazard, Secretary and Mélanie Palaccio, Treasurer.

The local authority has donated a splendid club-house to the Club, located near the courts.

The Club is made up of about 50 paid-up members, being children (from 5 or 6 years upwards), teenagers and adults. Certain players are formally graded (French Tennis Federation 4th Series Grade 30 for the best).

For further information, you can contact the Club on 04 68 46 53 14.
